Overview
This site is a central source of information for residents on the combined clinical chemistry, toxicology and coagulation rotation at HUP. Residents have several responsibilities while on the rotation. These are detailed in the Goals and Objectives document for the rotation. The left sidebar provides links to useful portions of the website including:
- ClinChem Blackboard - an online course management site, through which residents will have access to a series of educational modules designed for self-paced study of instrumental analysis, statistics and laboratory management that are critical to their development as laboratory physicians.
- MTS (Medical Training System) - an online website developed by clinical laboratorians at the University of Washington that delivers useful training modules in fundamental areas of laboratory medicine. Residents should contact Dr. Nachamkin for access to the site. Residents are required on the rotation to take the following modules and competency assessments prior to completion of the rotation:
- Protein Electrophoresis
- Urinalysis
- Cardiac Markers
- Coagulation
